Summary: The Tok'ra decide that Earth hasn't anything to offer them so they say no to becoming Earth's ally. Sam is warned that her father is dying and she sees that the only way to save him is if he becomes a host to a Tok'ra called Selmak so she proposes that to the Tok'ra council in hopes that she can save her father and convince the Tok'ra to join with Earth.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

FAKE: When Capt Carter, Jacob and Martouf are fleeing the vanishing tunnels, they ring to the surface of the planet to head for the stargate. As the rings disappear you can see their footsteps in the sand behind them leading into the ring area.
FAKE: The SGC stargate is active (glowing lights, closed iris) and General Hammond is anxiously waiting for an SG-1 signal even before Selmak, Carter and Martuf dial the address to return to Earth.
