Summary: Stardate: 52619.2 Seven has been captured by the Borg and once again made to assimilate others. However, this time she will be Borg in name only. The Borg Queen has allowed Seven to retain her human uniqueness in order to aid the Borg in their quest to conquer and assimilate Earth and the Federation once and for all.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: During the assimilation of Species 10026 - the Borg Queen states their population is 392,000 - however - at the end of the process - the Borg Queen stated that 300,000 had been transformed into drones. What happened to the others? Was the Borg Queen giving a general number (despite the Borg desire for perfection) - or were the missing number killed?
CONT: The EMH claimed that Seven of Nine was 4 years old when her parents departed on their Borg research mission, however, in the 7th season episode "Author Author" - Seven of Nine's aunt claimed she had visited the aunt's home at age 6.

TRIVIA

Susanna Thompson (I) had to take a day off after every day of shooting, because of the discomfort from the Borg Queen make-up and contact lenses.
Susanna Thompson (I) had previously auditioned for the part of the Borg Queen in Star Trek: First Contact (1996), but lost the part to Alice Krige. She got the part on "Star Trek: Voyager' (1995)' when Krige was unavailable.
In this episode it is stated that the Borg designation for the Human race is Species 5618. Despite multiple two-parters and the Borg-themed Star Trek: First Contact, this designation was never made clear before this episode.
