Summary: Stardate: 51781.2 Everything is running normal on Voyager when Janeway suddenly receives a coded message from the ship. It’s the highly secretive Omega Directive, which orders all Star Fleet Captains to stop everything, and do everything in order to destroy a detected Omega molecule.Seven is the only member of the crew Janeway tells about this directive, in the hope that Seven can help her with this task, but Seven decides it might be better to study the highly unstable molecule. This leads to near disastrous results for Voyager.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CHAR: At the beginning of the episode "The Omega Directive", Seven of Nine makes a personal log entry, but she gives the date as "Stardate 15781.2", transposing the first two digits (It should have been "Stardate 51781.2").
PLOT: If they can beam up the Omega molecule (convert matter to energy and back to matter), could they not simply erase Omega from the transporter buffer instead of re-materializing it in the cargo bay?
PLOT: Omega is so unstable that Starfleet created a directive that supersedes all other directives in which requires it be destroyed; therefore, it is unlikely that one could simply convert it to energy via conventional transporters.
