Summary: Stardate: 51449.2 While on an away mission to collect samples of proto-matter from a nebula, Neelix is killed by a discharge from the nebula. Janeway, believing Neelix’ death is final and is preparing for his funeral, is stunned to hear Seven of Nine tell her that Neelix’ death can be reversed. She tells Janeway that it is not too late for her Borg implants to resuscitate him. Janeway reluctantly agrees, and Neelix is revived, but the results lead to consequences none of them expected, and which they may not be able to correct.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

SYNC: When Thomas Paris uses the "spoon and glass method" to get the attention of the gathering in the mess hall, he is holding a tumbler by its rim. This type of glass does not give off the ringing sound heard. Furthermore, any type of glass, held by its rim, cannot give off that kind of tone. (Typically, stemware is used to do this).

TRIVIA

In the scene where Neelix goes to talk to Seven in Astrometrics (near the end of the episode), one of the screens displays the well-known and oft-reprinted image of the Eagle Nebula, taken by the Hubble telescope.
