Summary: Stardate: 51082.4 Chakotay comes under fire while on away mission and has to emergency beam out to the nearby planet. There he finds the inhabitants are at war, and he is forced to join a side in the conflict. Although Chakotay thinks he has joined the right side, all it not as it appears.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

PLOT: The universal translator deals with common concepts and ideas; it doesn't handle slang or idiom. Unless there's no direct analog in Federation Basic (i.e. English) for a concept, there's no reason Chakotay should hear the terms he hears (coverings, nullified, sharper, soonafter) rather than the more common words for them (clothes, dead/killed, smarter, future).
PLOT: Chakotay is half a head taller than Namon, yet he fits into Namon's clothes without any seeming problem.

Title used in the 10th Star Trek movie and the last one to use this generation of Star Trek characters.
This episode is the only episode in which Jeri Ryan does not appear in after she joined the cast.
