Star Trek: Voyager - 03x01 Basics, Part II

Summary: Finding themselves stranded on a barren planet by the Kazon, who have captured and taken Voyage, the crew must find shelter and food, and fight off the carnivorous creators there.Back on Voyager, the Doctor finds an unlikely ally; the murdering sociopath, Ensign Suder. Working reluctantly together, they are the crews’ only hope of rescue. However, can just the two of them overcome the Kazon, and more importantly, Seska?

MISTAKES/GOOFS

PLOT: The computer reports "there are 89 Kaizon and 1 Bedazon on board", yet there is a Cardassian on board, by the name Seska, as well as a Cardassian/Kaizon baby.
CREW: The first time CG cave monster it comes out, we see through its eyes as it heads for the entrance of the cave, and the walls of the stage are visible in the last few frames.
SYNC: In the recap, Tom Paris's line about going back to get help from the Talaxians doesn't match his lips.
FAKE: Just after the overload on the Bridge, when Culluh uses a railing to help him up it clearly wobbles.
CONT: When the Kazon have taken over the Voyager, the Doctor asks the computer for the ship's complement. It lists eighty-nine Kazon and one Betazoid on board, but neglects to mention Seska (a Cardassian), and her infant son.

TRIVIA

The Hanonian land eel was the first alien being on Voyager created through CGI. They would experiment with the technique again in the episode Macrocosm, before using it to create Species 8472 for the season finale.
SPOILER: This episode marks the deaths of Seska, Lon Suder, Hogan, and the final appearance of Maje Culluh. Also the final time the Kazon appear on the show, barring illusory encounters in future episodes.
