Episode Quotes
DaiMon Bok: You thought you could hide him from me, didn't you? But I found out about him. Jason Vigo is as good as dead. I'm going to kill your son, Picard, just like you killed mine!
Jason Vigo: Let me tell you something that I've never told anyone before. I've been into a lot of trouble since I was a teenager. I lie, I steal, I use people. I'm a criminal, that's what your son is.
Lt. Commander Data: [decoding a message in B'Zal] The message reads: "My revenge is at hand".
Mistakes/Goofs
- Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): The Xendi Sabu system is misquoted as Xendi Cabu by Data and Picard respectively.
Trivia
- The only time the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition are mentioned in TNG. They're more often heard in DS9. And occasionally in VGR.
- Bok's Ferengi crew turn on him and remove him from command, just like they did in "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987) {The Battle (#1.8)}. One of his subordinates even gets a similar line of dialogue - how there is no profit in Bok's revenge plan.
- A sequel to "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987) {The Battle (#1.8)}.
- The last proper Ferengi story in the series.
- Frank Corsentino played the role of DaiMon Bok in "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987) {The Battle (#1.8)}, but he couldn't be located to reprise the role, so Lee Arenberg was asked to step in instead. This is actually the third time he has played a Ferengi. He played DaiMon Prak in "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987) {Force of Nature (#7.9)}, and Gral in "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" (1993) {The Nagus (#1.10)} the year before.
