Summary: Stardate: (Unknown) A cultural exchange between the Federation, represented by the Enterprise crew, and the Iyaarans representatives goes awry, leading to unexpected events, to the dismay of the Enterprise crew who are involved in the exchange.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

FAKE: Some obvious matte work when Anna morphs back into Voval.
FAKE: Space appears to be shaking when the Iyaaran shuttle loses power.
CONT: The Iyaaran shuttle carried three people to the Enterprise. Yet when Voval is taking capt. Picard to his own home planet it has only two seats.

TRIVIA

Eric (the boy) was named after the nephew of one of the show's producers.
The first time Worf, Troi and Dr Crusher are all seen in dress uniform.
Paul Eiding is allergic to chocolate, which is ironic considering Ambassador Loquel gorges on it for most of his trip. The food he eats at the poker game had to be changed from chocolate-covered raisins at the last minute.
Cliff Bole, the director was disappointed with this episode. He blamed it on the constant rewrites the script had to go through.
In a cut scene, Byleth woke Worf at 0500 hours for a tour of the arboretum.
