Summary: Stardate: 43957.2 Enterprise comes to the rescue of a survivor of a crashed spaceship. Although the survivor has amnesia, he begins to exhibit signs of strange powers during his recovery. However, a ship from his home planet arrives, and claims he is actually a criminal, and a danger to the state. Enterprise soon learns their guest is actually the first of his race to fully experience the evolutionary change his society is about to go through.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: SPOILER: After John Doe knocks Warf off the platform and kills him, he (John) then comes down and heals him (Warf) of all his injuries. Dr. Crusher is astonished; however, since he did the same thing to Chief O'Brien earlier, she should not be surprised at all.
CHAR: After John heals the whole ship of not being able to breathe, we see Data standing up, implying that he was suffering from the same problem as the others. However, Data is an android and mechanical people can't breathe.
CHAR: When Picard visits "John Doe" in sickbay the first time, he and LaForge encounter each other in the doorway and make eye contact, yet La Forge says nothing, just looking at the Captain and walking off. Shouldn't a junior officer acknowledge a senior officer's arrival/presence in some way? Ordinarily on the Enterprise, officers stand when Picard enters the room, or at the very least say "Captain" or otherwise respectfully acknowledge his arrival.
