Summary: Stardate: 43385.6 Enterprise hosts a race's negations on the rights to control a wormhole, one which they claim is stable. As the crew sets out to determine the stability of the wormhole, the Ferengi barge into the negotiations. Also, Troi becomes attracted to one of the negotiators; a mysterious hired gun who has a secret to hide from the rest, putting Troi in an awkward situation.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: While talking with Riker at a table in 10-Forward, Devinoni Ral moves his glass to be in front of his hand. Next cut, the glass is back behind his hand.
PLOT: When Daimon Goss threatens to destroy the wormhole, Counselor Troi tells Capt. Picard that Goss is lying and that he doesn't mean what he said, implying she can sense Goss's thoughts. In various other episodes involving the Ferengi however, it's been stated that the Ferengi brain is too complex for Betazoids to sense telepathically, so how was Counselor Troi able to sense Daimon Goss's thoughts if the Ferengi mind is unreadable to Betazoids?
FAKE: When Tal and Troi have an intimate dinner Ral puts his fork into the bowl in front of him and then draws the fork to his mouth, but the fork has nothing on it.
