Star Trek: Enterprise- Show Reviews |

The 5th Star Trek. Back in time to the origins of Star Fleet. Get humans in charge is the theme plot. Although this was a shortened series I believe it was worthwhile. Whilst there are some points that are at odds with Star Trek History as given in the other 4 series they do not detract from what is an enjoyable show. As usual well scripted acted and presented. The opening of each episode is a departure from the previous 4 but is extremely good. Definitely not to be missed. BTW please only post reviews here not comments or questions which should be in the forums. Thankyou Quark - Moderator |

I have but one peeve with this show and that is this... The opening music or rather SONG!! Since when has star trek had some wussy vocal theme song instead of a well orchestrated musical interlude... |

I felt this series was sort of a chronicle of mans introduction to the 'Universal Community'. They had little information and pretty low tech but they ran forth unto the breach anyway, and learned hard and fast about interacting with aliens. It was about humanity proving it's ability to thrive in their new adventure of exploration. I was a little disappointed in their Finale', simply because they had a choice of answering the call of the majority of fans to create a sort of juncture between the Enterprise events and those in the TOS timeline. I have always wondered why they didn't do something a little more creative than what they did with that ending. {No Spoilers Here!!} That's why I can't understand all the fan's complaints really though. I see so many altered timelines, and alternative universes through all Star Trek series that I can't believe anyone would have a problem accepting this version of Genes greatest accomplishment. As always, All Hail the Great Bird of the Galaxy! |

Cap'n Kirk was a caveman, Jean Luc and later characters were 90's guys unafraid to talk about their feelings. |

Can't beat Scott Bakula as Archer. Loved him in Quantum Leap and he was good in this. I felt it was a mix between The Next Generation and the first Star Trek. You have the exploration of TNG but the kicking ass and taking names as the first Star Trek. |

Great show. Half of the time it was on it went to the "new" style of writing shows that 24 did. The way of building the next episode off of the one before it. Great strategy. Near the end it changed back to stand-alone episodes and was far less intriguing. |

Enterprise deserved at least a few more years. There's a movement to bring the show back & I'm really, really hoping it succeeds. |
