Episode Quotes

Commander Charles 'Trip' Tucker III: [to T'Pol] Who would've thought - you and me, huh? Lorian says we're gonna be married in a traditional Vulcan ceremony. It's gonna take me weeks to learn to pronounce the vows. You know where we're gonna have our honeymoon? Cargo bay 3.
Karyn Archer: We can't do this.
Lorian: There's too much at stake.
Karyn Archer: These people are family. I'm not going to let you kill them.
Lorian: You don't know what it's like, living with the responsibility. Millions of people are dead because of me.
Captain Jonathan Archer: I'm sure your crew did everything they could to stop the probe.
Lorian: I could have destroyed it! Years ago, I... I swore to my Captain on his death bed, I'd save those seven million lives. You were the man I made that promise to.

Mistakes/Goofs

  • Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): When Trip and Lorian are speaking in engineering, as Lorian is at the second terminal and Trip is walking over to him, Trip's lips move as he talks to Lorian but no sound comes out.
  • Goof (revealing mistake): At the point when young T'pol passes the notepad to old T'pol, the elderly lady reaches out for it without looking around. Her hand and arm go out but her shoulder remains still, this is very hard if not impossible to do.

Trivia

  • Lorian, being Trip and T'Pol's son from an alternate timeline, predates Mr. Spock as the first human/Vulcan hybrid by almost 100 years.
