Episode Quotes

Commander Jonathan Archer: NX Beta to Commodore Forrest. You might wanna check your sensors. You'll see we're holding steady at 2.5.
Commodore Maxwell Forrest: Congratulations. Now get the hell back here!
A.G. Robinson: By the time they figure out what's going on, we'll be halfway to Jupiter.
A.G. Robinson: Hey - I'll see ya out there.

Mistakes/Goofs

  • Goof (revealing mistake): During take-off of the NX Beta exhaust can be seen coming from warp nacelles instead of impulse and/or rocket exhaust port.

Trivia

  • Mount McKinley is mentioned. McKinley would later be the name of the Starfleet shipbuilding and repair facility in Earth orbit called Earth Station McKinley, which is where the Enterprise-D docked in "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987) {Family (#4.2)}.
