MISTAKES/GOOFS
- FAKE: There's a scene where Weyoun is shown on display screens delivering an address to the Cardassian citizens about a city being destroyed as retribution for sabotage by Cardassian rebels, where the insignia of the Dominion is in the background displayed backwards; a result of a flipped shot.
TRIVIA
- The last episode of Star Trek that aired before the death of DeForest Kelley on 11th June, 1999.
- In the montage scene, there are no clips of Jadzia Dax because the producers weren't able to get permission from Terry Farrell (I) to use her image. Her asking price was just too high and the budget couldn't allow it. Producer Ira Steven Behr said he was disappointed by that. That it was one of the few things about the series finale that he wasn't happy about.
- The series finished shooting officially on 20 April 1999. The final scene filmed was the one between Armin Shimerman and James Darren: the scene where Quark and Vic Fontaine play Go Fish at Vic's.
- On the last day of shooting, Nana Visitor ruined several takes because she couldn't stop crying, especially during Vic Fontaine's rendition of "The Way We Look Tonight".
- When Vic Fontaine sang "The Way You Look Tonight", producer Ira Behr looked at the cast and he suddenly realized it was all over. He said "It was a moment I'll never forget."
