Summary: Jake's friendship with Nog comes to a crossroads when Nog asks Jake to lie for him. Chief O'Brien, subbing for his wife in her classroom, was the one who was lied to, and he suggests to Commander Sisko that it may be best for Jake and Nog to sever their friendship. Meanwhile, Quark is visited by the Grand Nagus, the most powerful of all Ferengi, and he's worried that the Nagus has come to buy his bar.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

PLOT: SPOILER: Croden is arrested on murder charges and thrown into the brig pending a trial. When Odo visits him a short while later, Croden shows him a medallion that he wears on a chain around his neck that contains some sort of power source. Even in the advanced 24th century, is it a good idea to allow prisoners to keep mysterious, powered items on their person when they are in jail? After all, Croden represents an unknown species and he displays an unknown device - it could be a weapon or explosive of some kind (the chain itself could be used as a weapon). Wouldn't it be logical, as we do in the 21st century, to confiscate personal items from a prisoner before he is put in a cell?
