Season 3 Trivia

  • Episode 01 - In his book, William Shatner referred to this episode as "one of the worst." Leonard Nimoy has stated that he was embarrassed during the entire shooting of this episode.
  • Episode 15 - Archive stock footage of World War II-era London, England burning was shown, superimposed on the fleeing scenes of Lokai and Beele.
  • Episode 22 - This is one of three productions in which Cengiz Khan and Abraham Lincoln (I) appear together as characters, in spite of the fact that Lincoln was born 582 years after the Khan's death. The others are Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) and "Clone High" (2002).
  • Episode 09 - Herb Wallerstein is the credited director of this episode. Ralph Senensky was the original director, but was fired midway through filming, and replaced by Wallerstein. Senensky refused any screen credit for this episode.
  • Episode 15 - First and only episode in the three seasons of "Star Trek" to show a sideways, in-alcove shot of the transporter chamber. When Commissioner Beele (Frank Gorshin) and Lokai (Lou Antonio) beam down to Charon.
