Dennis: [yawns] Why don't you come curl up with us? We don't have anything special to show off. Elsie: Well, maybe some of us don't. Anyway, we promise not to show off if you don't want us to.
	Unknown Episode: Lester Goldberg: You draw really good, Stanley. Marci: And you know so much about animals. Dennis: You should be very proud of yourself, Stanley. Stanley Griff: I am. I'm proud... as a peacock.
	Unknown Episode: Harry: Could we have some quiet here? I need my beauty sleep. Stanley Griff: [giggles] Good night, Dennis. Dennis: Good night, peacock boy Stanley.
	Unknown Episode: Dennis: Don't worry, Mimi. I'll bet you'll be standing on one leg in no time, just like a beautiful flamingo. Marci: I thought flamingos only had one leg! Lester Goldberg: It looks that way because they always stand on one leg and keep the other one curled up... I think.

	Unknown Episode: Dennis: Today, we learned that flamingos strain their food out of water. Then they turn pink from their diet. Stanley Griff: And we learned that if you hold your arms out like a flamingo sticks out its wings, it helps you balance so you can stand on one leg. Dennis: Yes. Now if I only had any legs to stand on, I'd be all set. Stanley Griff: Ha ha ha. Good night, Dennis. Dennis: Good night, flamingo boy Stanley.
	Unknown Episode: Stanley Griff: I guess dad didn't mind the pecking too much, Dennis. Dennis: Oh? Why do you say that? Stanley Griff: He made his comic all about woodpeckers.
	Unknown Episode: Stanley Griff: I know the skunk musk smelled really awful, but skunks are pretty cool animals, aren't they? Dennis: Absolutely. Today I learned that skunks are gentle kind of weasel with a very effective defense. Stanley Griff: And I learned that responsibility means looking after someone and making sure they don't get into trouble, just like a mother skunk looks after her babies. Boy, I feel a lot better now that we got rid of Harry's skunk smell. Dennis: Me too. Especially since we're all sleeping in the same tent.
	Unknown Episode: Dennis: Ahoy there, mateys. Let's batten down those hatches and all that nautical talk
	Unknown Episode: Dennis: Stanley is shopping for a new best friend fish.
	Unknown Episode: Harry: But Dennis, just because Stanley's been taking all his money to the pet shop doesn't mean he's gonna buy a new fish. Dennis: Perhaps, but whenever I ask him why he keeps going to the pet shop, all the says is that it's a big surprise. What could be a bigger surprise than being replaced by another fish? Harry: A bicycle.
	Unknown Episode: Dennis: I'm sorry I ever doubted you, Stanley. I should have known we'd always be friends. Stanley Griff: That's okay. Sometimes I jump to conclusions, too. But everything's all right now, right Dennis? Or should I say your royal majesty Dennis, king of the fishbowl? Dennis: Just peachy, Sir Stanley. Or should I say best friend ever?
	Unknown Episode: Stanley Griff: [lifting something up next to Dennis's fishbowl] Guess what I have, Dennis. [He pulls off a cloth] Ta-da! Oscar! He's our class pet! Miss Diaz said I could take him home this weekend. Dennis: That's quite an honor, Stanley. Stanley Griff: Yeah. I learned a lot about him. So I know how to take care of him. But you know why I really wanted to bring Oscar home? To meet you. Dennis: Really? Is he a goldfish? Stanley Griff: Nope, he's a musk turtle. See?
	Unknown Episode: Stanley Griff: It looks like goldfish and musk turtles like living in the same kind of pond. Dennis: You mean we share the same habitat. Fresh, cool water with plenty of plant life. I suppose we do, Stanley.
	Unknown Episode: Oscar: Dinky? Dennis: Oscar? Oscar, how are you, old chum? Stanley, this is my old friend Oscar! Can you believe it? We grew up in the same pet store when we were babies. Stanley Griff: Wow! But... "Dinky"? Dennis: [blushes] Yes, well, that was my nickname back then, Stanley. I was just much smaller. Let's not talk about it.
	Unknown Episode: Dennis: But the one bad thing about becoming Oscar's friend again is... now I miss him, even his special stink. Stanley Griff: Cheer up, Dennis. Oscar needs a place to stay this summer. Dennis: He can live right here with us. Good night, musk turtle Stanley. Stanley Griff: Good night... Dinky. Dennis: Oh.
	Unknown Episode: Stanley Griff: Lester, are you okay? Say something! Lester Goldberg: Wo-wo-wolf! Dennis: Did somebody cry "wolf"? Lester Goldberg: Yeah. Walter is a big, bad, scary wolf. Dennis: A big, bad, scary - Lester, are you sure? Lester Goldberg: He sure acts like one.
	Unknown Episode: Harry: So what's the deal on big, bad, scary wolves? Stanley Griff: They're not big or bad or scary. We were wrong. Dennis: Cheer up, Stanley. We learned something new today. Stanley Griff: Yeah, but I still feel bad. We made up our minds before getting to know them. Lester Goldberg: Just like we did with Walter.
	Unknown Episode: Dennis: Don't worry, Mimi. The worm isn't going to hurt you. Look at what it does when it crawls through the dirt. See how it moves it all around? Marci: Oh yeah. Kind of like it's plowing it. Dennis: That's why the earthworm is called nature's plow. The worm's crawl in. The worms crawl out. They move the nutrients all about.
	Unknown Episode: Dennis: The earthworm really is the gardener's best friend. Mimi: You've gotta be kidding. Worms help my flowers grow?

Elsie: I don't know, Harry. Maybe your best years are behind you. You just don't have that puppy-like spring in your step anymore. Harry: Stanley, let's show 'em!
