According to Dave Willis (III), when a staffer heard that Peter Fonda (I) would be interviewed for the show, he came to the studio dressed as Captain America from Easy Rider (1969). Willis, wanting to avoid embarrassing the star, told the staffer they were interviewing Henry Fonda. The staff worker then left feeling dejected.
