gen244 2 months ago	South Park is a fantastic show but it definitely requires a very open mind. I get the impression the creators set out to offend as many people/groups as they can and nothing is too sacred for them to take the piss out of. They seem to push the limits of what is acceptable TV. If you are easily offended I would suggest you look elsware, otherwise you're in for a laugh while the show tackles all kinds of social issues/events.	+0

hucksgirl13 Sep 5, 2008 9:08PM	Ya know, when South Park first started out, I was intrigued. It was shocking and crude and crass but it made me laugh. As time went on, the episodes just seemed to get more irritating and moronic and I just couldn't stomach it anymore. It just seemed like they were trying to push everyone's "dirty mind" button and yeah, they were succeeding, but they were just trying too hard and it came off idiotic to me. I'll take Family Guy over South Park anyday of the week.	+1

Yes it has come a long way, when you watch the first episode and then one of the newer episodes you can really see a difference, It's done so well It's like the southpark characters are alive. thirdlight Feb 6, 2008 7:12PM	The show has come a long way, the stories are more complex and the quality is better with every season. The jokes cut to the bone, but I still respect the writers for the content they include, although its obvious that they had to make some sacrifices to stay on air. One of my all time favourite episodes is "Tsst".	+1

But I'm happy to say that several seasons into the start of the show I gave it an honest chance and I loved it. The show, which does sometimes rely on crude humor and fart jokes, still manages to be funny and have solid story lines.	+0

It feels as if the creators are being crude for the sake of it, (and I'm not one to dislike crudeness in movies and TV shows, and I loved Team America) and it just isn't funny. Some of the jokes just go too far and end up being really unnecessary, disgusting and stupid. What's all the fuss about?	+1
