The roaring sounds of the curse dragon that appears at the end are the Spider Mastermind's characteristic noises from the video game Doom.
The first episode to be animated with Maya software.
The word "shit" was uttered 162 times. After the episode, the word "shit" was outlawed. According to Trey Parker (I), even though they may be able to use the word on TV again, the South Park universe has eliminated the word from use.
The original airdate title for this episode was "Cartman Says...", as Cartman was the first person to say "shit" in this episode.
