Molly Phillips is a widowed rock star on a comeback tour. Years ago she was in a band with husband Rick and friend John Kane. After Rick's death the band fell apart and Molly went into writing jingles to support her family. Now, eleven years later she goes back on tour with her two children, Jack and Fiona. With them manager Irene Bell her teenage son Clu, and husband Ned, who is their driver.
