Summary: While driving, Lois accidentally hits a dog and brings it back to the farm to heal. Clark realizes this is no ordinary dog after the pup lifts up a car to retrieve a ball. Clark and Lois learn the dog is a product of an aborted LuthorCorp experiment and is being used to commit crimes, but when Lois is kidnapped by the robbers and Clark is weakened by kryptonite, it is up to the dog to save them. Meanwhile, Lana questions Jason's involvement in his mother's schemes...

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: About 30 minutes into the episode, when Clark and Lois Go after the robbers, just as the SUV enters the small road you can clearly see the red GMC logo on the hood of the car. A few seconds later when they get out of the car, the logo is no longer there.
CONT: When checking out the armored car robbery, Clark tells Lois to turn left. We then go to on out of car shot where the big red letters of the GMC that Lois is driving are clearly visible. When the 4x4 skids to halt shot its GMC logo is covered in black tape.
CONT: After Lois hits the dog, she exits her car and runs to the dog. As she passes the back of the car, her tail lights are off. When she reaches the dog, her tail lights are on.
FAKE: When Clark throws the two villains against the brick wall at the end, it very clearly flexes as though made of foam rather than brick.

TRIVIA

When trying to pick a name for the Kents' new dog, Lois Lane's final suggestion (before the family settles on Shelby) is "Bud" - the real name of the dog portraying Shelby.
