Summary: Clark dreams he is being pursued by a frightened young girl who needs his help. MISTAKES/GOOFS

GEOG: In the episode where Clark is going to Met U to meet the football team you can clearly see a TD bank in the background, as well as a Canadian Postal service vehicle while he is driving down the highway.
FAKE: Lana and Clark decide to go skinny-dipping. As Kristin Kreuk is taking off her clothes behind Tom Welling, the camera pans from left to right over Tom. At the last moment, Kristin looks at the camera, obviously unaware that she's still in the shot.
FAKE: When Lana is suppose to be naked, her and Clark are just about to kiss you hear the scream and you can see a blue strap of a swimming costume.
FACT: While there was a close up on Clark while he was asleep, you could see a small cut right above his eye, which is impossible if he can't be hurt.
CONT: At the beginning of this episode Lana is supposedly naked. However, when she dives off of the pier, she is wearing a pair of red shorts.

TRIVIA

All the music in the episode is by R.E.M. (I) which is short for Rapid Eye Movement, a sign of deep sleep.
To coincide with the release of the CD "In Time: The Best of R.E.M. 1988-2003" on 28 October 2003, the third season episode "Slumber" included only songs by R.E.M. (I). The album is released on Warner Brothers, the same company that produces this show. It was also a reference to the show's relation to sleep; Chloe makes an offhand reference to the R.E.M. (rapid-eye movement) state of sleep.
In several sequences Clark is asleep and dreaming (which occurs primarily in the REM phases). Songs from the band R.E.M. play in the background during most of these sequences.
