And to be honest with you, Kal, after coming back here and trying to change the future, I might not have one to go back to. Clark Kent: Look, I don't understand. You said the future would be safe if we got rid of Brainiac. Rokk Krinn: Yes, everything is safe. Brainiac is gone... but so are you. That whole "you're here one second, and then you're not"? You took a bullet, and the next day, you were fine. I mean, i-it's like you're some kind of super... guy. Clark Kent: Jimmy... I am the Red-Blue Blur. You were right. About me and about Davis. You were the only person to put it all together. I'm sorry that I lied to you. Jimmy Olsen: I knew it. I was so right! I got out before the blast, but not fast enough to save everyone else. Chloe... I've searched everywhere. There's no sign of Lois. Chloe Sullivan: [cries softly] I saw someone tacking her photo on a missing-persons report. And I keep thinking that maybe, maybe I haven't... Clark Kent: Lost everyone. Chloe Sullivan: You were there today, Clark, weren't you? I really needed you. Why didn't you come to me? Clark Kent: I'm the reason Jimmy's dead. Oliver was right. I put humanity on a pedestal. It wasn't a Kryptonian beast that killed Jimmy. It was a human. Chloe Sullivan: I was standing right here, Clark. I know full well who killed Jimmy. Tess Mercer: And when that happens, you'll know where to find him... so that you can finally slay the proverbial dragon.

I'm gonna separate Davis from the beast and use this crystal to send Doomsday to the Phantom Zone. Chloe Sullivan: Spare me the Kryptonian mumbo jumbo. You have to bend the rules on this one. Clark Kent: When I took Davis to the fortress, you stopped me from sending him away. You knew he was worth saving. Chloe Sullivan: I was wrong. Clark Kent: No, you weren't wrong, Chloe. Look, I know what you've been through, but there's still a side of Davis that's human. Chloe Sullivan: So, then what if the plan fails? Clark Kent: It won't. Sometimes, justice... it's not about making the easy decision. Sometimes, it's about finding the last bit of good in someone and saving them from themselves. You taught me that.

It'll send you to a world where you don't have to hide who you are any longer. Davis Bloome: A world without Chloe? No, you better have a plan "B" because I'm not losing her.
