A very hit-and-miss comedy. There were a couple of good ideas in Beehive, but like most sketch shows on digital TV, there was also an awful lot of un-funny padding getting in the way too. Given the similarities to Smack The Pony, this show was never going to come away looking as good or successful. Still, well done for trying E4 - given another series this could develop into something good as there were a couple of good characters amongst it all (e.g. the rude airline hostesses). |
