SPOILER: In the flash-forward to David and Keith's wedding scene, several of the show's writers and producers can be seen sitting among the wedding guests.
SPOILER: The finale was the only time a birth, rather than a death, was announced at the opening and a death only at the end.
SPOILER: Although uncredited, Patricia Clarkson (Sarah) appears in the final episode at Ruth's funeral. She is not seen on on screen, but she is sitting two seats away from George (James Cromwell (I)), next to the older version of Maya. HBO's website does still have a picture with her in it.
SPOILER: In the flash-forward scenes, the adult Durrell was played by a non-professional actor who is, in fact, Alan Ball (I)'s personal trainer.
