Episode Quotes
Ruth: Well seriously. What kind of a plan is that, to let a sick bird run wild in the house pooping?
Maggie Sibley: Well, I know that if you think life is a vending machine, where you put in virtue and you get out happiness, then you'll probably gonna be disappointed.
Mistakes/Goofs
- Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): The death at the top of the episode tells us that the dates of the deceased are 1909-2005, making her 96 (or 95 if her birthday hadn't yet taken place that year). Yet, at the meeting with Nate and Rico, her elderly friend says "today would have been her 95th birthday", but her 95th birthday took place in 2004. (Perhaps the old lady might just be forgetting what year it is.)
Trivia
- This marks the first time - after 5 years - that Rachel Griffiths and 'Mathew St Patrick' actually shared a scene of any great depth.
- This episode focuses on Nate turning 40. Writer Craig Wright was celebrating his own 40th birthday at the time of writing.
- The surprise party was shot over a period of 5 days with 13 actors.
