 The team attend the scene of a drive-by shooting outside a nightclub. It appears that the club was at the centre of a drugs racket, and the shooting was part of a turf war. A bullet is found on the other side of the road, suggesting that someone from the club fired back at the car. The team discover that pressure is being put on the owner of the club. Another gang want to buy him out, and if he doesn't agree, he'll be forced to fight. Finding the weapons used is the key to working out who is responsible and stopping any further shootings. The gun used in the attack shows up in the possession of a thirteen-year-old boy, Wayne. Harry is convinced he is covering for someone, and is not the killer. Eventually he persuades Wayne to give him the name of the man he's protecting. Harry promises not to tell the police, but of course that's exactly what he does. The turf-war is ended, but although lives have been saved Wayne has been lost to the street gangs. |
