Goof (continuity error): In the opening credits, a close-up of the bus that splashed Carrie shows that it was full of people. But as the bus rounds the corner, it is totally empty.
Goof (errors in geography): In the earlier series, the exterior the Carrie's apartment was another apartment block (in one episode we see a couple having sex through this windows). In later series, the exterior changes to the street outside and the other apartment seems to have moved.
Goof (continuity error): When Mr. Big offers Carrie a ride, his car windows aren't tinted. When she gets out and asks him a question, they are tinted.
Goof (boom mic visible): Just after Carrie and Skipper pass the woman in the red coat, the boom mic becomes visible at the bottom center of frame.
Goof (revealing mistake): At the after party for the fashion show, Carrie picks up three potato puffs, but manages to eat four and dispose a fifth off camera.
Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): When Carrie and Stanford are leaving Derek in the dressing room, the audio plays "bye" but his lips read "okay" or "alright".
Goof (continuity error): In "Bay of Married Pigs", when Carrie and Stanford run into her old boyfriend, a bus is visible behind him. In the next shot, the bus is not there, However, in the shot after that, the bus is visible again.
Goof (continuity error): When Carrie receives a phone call from Samantha, her voice over says she needs her morning Marlboro Light, however, when she picks up her pack of cigarettes, it is a pack of Merits.
Goof (continuity error): Of the first season, "The Power of Female Sex," when Carrie is sitting with Amalita and being introduced to the French architect, a man with a dark blue suit and purple tie is seen approaching Carrie from behind three times in a row.
Goof (continuity error): Carrie and Samantha are both pinning up Carrie's bus poster on a wall. On Samantha's side, one of the pins falls out and the corner of the poster rolls up. In the next shot the corner is neatly pinned to the wall but no one had corrected the poster.
Goof (continuity error): When Big & Carrie get to the table at the Chinese Restaurant he takes off his black trench coat, lays it down & then takes Carrie's fur. In the next shot when Carrie says she is going to say hello to Mike Singer he is taking off the black trench coat again.
Goof (boom mic visible): The boom mic is visible in the scene where the fortune teller is reading the cards for Charlotte.
Goof (factual errors): When the women are waiting outside the Yankee locker room to get their baseball signed, a Yankee player passes by them wearing uniform number 9. The number 9 was worn by the late Roger Maris and retired by the Yankees in 1984.
Goof (continuity error): When Charlotte points out Carrie's photo in the newspaper and hands it to Carrie and Samantha, the paper is bent badly at the spine. When they hand it back seconds later, it is smoothed and shows no sign of having been bent wrongly at all.
Goof (crew or equipment visible): After spending the night with Big, Carrie runs into Miranda on the street while "on the way to see her dentist". As Miranda walks away, Carrie spins around revealing the mic pack/transmitter in the middle of her back, attached to her bra.
Goof (boom mic visible): When Samantha's telling her story about her boyfriend with the shower to the girls, and they are having a martini, at the top of the screen the microphone is visible.
Goof (continuity error): In the scene where Charlotte and the best man are walking down the stairs after having slept together in the honey moon suite, Charlotte's hair changes position - it goes from being messy to perfect between shots.
Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): The band at the wedding reception consists of a singer, pianist, drummer and saxophonist, but a piano or synthesizer is also heard when they are playing, even when the camera is on them.

Goof (crew or equipment visible): In the ending scene when Miranda and Steve are making love, as the camera zooms out you can see the edge of boom microphone.
