Jerry and Elaine repeat the phrase "casus belli" as George enters Jerry apartment. Elaine tells George it means nothing, but it is actually a Latin phrase meaning "case for war"; it’s the justification that one nation uses when going to war with another.
Babu Bhatt was originally named as "Vong Sim" in early drafts of the script.
This is the first episode to have applause by the studio audience as Kramer entered. It happened when Kramer entered the Dream café rather than Jerry's apartment.
