MISTAKES/GOOFS
- CHAR: In this episode, Elliot tells J.D. that she's 29. After college, 4 years of medical school, and 6 years at Sacred Heart, she should be 32.
- CONT: In the second scene we see Dr. Kelso in the beginning, his name tag changes positions.
- CONT: At the beginning of the song "Guy Love", Turk has the clipboard up to his check, and then it jumps to the next shot and the clipboard is at his waist; the clipboard's still at his waist, but when Turk sings, "...some times it's easier to hide..." another shot is ran and the clipboard has suddenly disappeared from the shot, and we can only assume it's at his side with his arm. The clipboard has suddenly disappeared (or at Turk's side, out of shot) whenever the camera does a mid-shot and over-the-shoulder and focuses on JD, but reappears whenever it's focused on Turk.
- CONT: In the opening scene, when Carla is sat at the table, working out her finances. As she says "maybe I should stay home with Izzy for a year". It cuts to Carla sat holding a pen up by her face. Then when it cuts to the wide shot her hands are under the table. Then when it cuts back to the close up, she is holding the pen in both hands by her mouth.
- CONT: Dorian's key is in his chest pocket before Elliot gives it to him.
TRIVIA
- CAMEO:(Jeff Marx (I)): one of the composers of the songs in this episode, has an uncredited role as the pharmacist in the background during "Gonna Miss You Carla".
- The entire cast does their own singing and dancing, with the exception of John C. McGinley, who jump roped during the opening number to cover the fact that he couldn't dance.
- John C. McGinley cannot dance, so in the scenes of "My Musical" where dancing is required, he chose to instead use a skipping rope.
- Judy Reyes (II) fractured her pelvis shortly before filming, which is why she sits in a chair for "It's Gonna be a Long Year." For the number "The Truth Comes Out" she is seen walking in front Ms. Miller's bed, which is her, but for the other parts, it is her double. The number "Dominican", was filmed 5 weeks after her injury.
- In the song "Everything Comes Down to Poo," according to composer Jeff Marx (I), the lyrics "It may sound gross / You may say shush / But we need to see / What comes out of your tush" were originally "It may sound gross / It may sound crass / But we need to see / What comes out of your ass."
