Episode 04 - Goof (factual errors): Gerard Butler erroneously declared himself as the first Scottish host in the history of SNL during his brief monologue. The first Scottish host was actually Alan Cumming in February 2000.
Episode 21 - Betty White was asked to host the show after a 500,000-strong campaign for her to do so was launched on Facebook in early 2010.
Episode 21 - At age 88½, Betty White is the oldest person to have hosted Saturday Night Live (as of 2010).
Episode 08 - In the original airing of this episode, Abby Elliott appeared in a Weekend Update segment spoofing Brittany Murphy. Murphy died two weeks later. The segment has been removed from the reruns.
Episode 11 - Due to an American football game that went beyond it's allotted time, the episode did not air in the United States of America's eastern time zone until after midnight, thus it aired in its entirety there on Sunday, January 10, 2010.
