Beldar Conehead: Prymaat, we must resist these humans!
Prymaat Conehead: Yes, I agree. We must remember humans are inferior beings, they must not be permitted to interfere with our mission.
Beldar Conehead: Correct! Let us solidify our meetings! Besides, no one gives cone like you!
Prymaat Conehead: [they touch cones] Beldar, I haven't heard you talk that way since the Moons of Mipzor. Let's hone our cones right here on the floor.

Season 3 Trivia

  • Episode 11 - This was Chevy Chase's first time back to the show since he left, and did his trademark pratfall in the cold opening of the show
  • Episode 19 - Goof (continuity error): Bill Murray's lounge singer character who always changes his surname to suit the occasion, introduces himself as 'Nick Springs', then later refers to himself as 'Nick Winters' before correcting himself.
  • Episode 12 - O.J. Simpson is the only living former host who was not invited to Saturday Night Live 25 (1999) (TV). Ten years earlier, he had presented a segment on Saturday Night Live: 15th Anniversary (1989) (TV).
  • Episode 15 - The cold opening sketch is John Belushi finding out that NBC has changed his name to "Kevin Scott". In keeping with the joke, Belushi is credited as "Kevin Scott" in the opening credits. He is even announced after Gilda Radner to keep the cast's names in alphabetical order.
  • Episode 01 - This is the first time two people co-anchor Weekend Update. Jane Curtin and Aykroyd would co-anchor for the next two seasons.
