MISTAKES/GOOFS

CHAR: About a minute into the cold open, Gwen Ifill (played by Queen Latifah) says that her new book "The Breakthrough" will come out on Inauguration Day. At the end of the cold open, she says the "the book drops November 4th", which is Election Day instead of Inauguration Day.

TRIVIA

When this first aired, a graphic appeared over Herbert and Marion Sandler (played Darrell Hammond and Casey Wilson (III)) saying "People who should be shot". After the real-life Sandlers complained to Lorne Michaels, the sketch was temporarily removed from the show's official website. The sketch was later reposted but the graphic was deleted as was Hammond's line referencing "our corrupt activities". Michaels admitted in interviews that he was unaware that the Sandlers were real people when he approved the sketch.
