Toby buys some property which includes a disused church. This he turns into a sewing factory, employing most of the women, George and Jack show their feelings with regard to the women working. Bert Barraclough is killed clearing a fall, and the mine is opened again, providing work for Jack and Sam, so Sam ends up working down the pit. | ||||||||||||
