In the first few episodes of the series, Laurie Metcalf wears a brown curly wig because producers asked her to wear one so that she would look more like Roseanne's actual sister.
Only episode to feature Sal Barone (II) as D.J. Connor. He didn't get on with Sara Gilbert at all, so producers hastily re-cast the part.
