Summary: A Revolutionary War re-enactment becomes the scene of a real killing when a soldier turns up dead. Maura's extensive knowledge of American history becomes important as she and Jane try to solve the case. And Maura's brilliant mother, Constance Isles, comes to Boston for an art exhibit.

Goof (continuity error): At the end of the episode Jane, her mom, and Maura are sitting in the bar when Maura's mother comes in. A waiter brings a milkshake to the people sitting at the table next to our ladies and they discuss their love of milkshakes. Less than a minute later as the camera pans out the "milkshake table" is now clean and the people gone.
