Host William Shatner presented re-inactments of automobile accidents, medical emergencies, fires, choking/asphyxiations to show how the emergency services respond. Sometimes their cameras would follow real life (sometimes death) events as they unfolded. Viewers learnt something about first aid and how to deal with emergencies by watching this show.
