Season 3 Trivia

Episode 01 - Goof (factual errors): The standard forensics procedure to identify badly burned bodies is dental records which predates DNA testing by many decades but is always 100% accurate. Episode 08 - Goof (continuity error): After retrieving samples from the forest fire, Carlos initially states that he'd rather "put them on the chopper himself." In the rewind, he then says that he'd rather "put them on the chopper personally."
Episode 06 - The use of a mirror to treat phantom limb pain (shown in this episode) was invented by neurologist V. S. Ramachandran, as described in his article "Touching the phantom limb" in the journal "Nature" (12 October 1995) and his book "Phantoms in the Brain". Dr Ramachandran likes to joke
Episode 07 - Goof (errors in geography): This is set near the California/Mexican border but trees in the Fall season can be seen, which happens only further up North in Canada where this was actually filmed.
