Episode 02 - Goof (continuity error): When the Carbug is driving on the road, all four Dwarfers are shown sitting in the car in close ups, but only the two sitting in the front are in the car in long shots.
Episode 01 - Rimmer says he will need "Classic Car Monthly or something" to read while the others are fighting the sea monster. Chris Barrie, who plays Rimmer, is a classic car enthusiast.
Episode 01 - Danny John-Jules, with a blue sock on his hand, provide the movement for the skutter's head. His hand was digitally edited out in post production and replaced with a CGI skutter.
