Summary: Kochanski is gone, Holly is on the fritz, a bath's been running for nine years, and Lister's busy day of annoying Rimmer is interrupted by a monstrous attack, it's pretty much business as usual - until a shock development much to the chagrin of Rimmer. The appearance (as a hard-light hologram) of deceased science officer Katerina Bartikovsky, who begins to make plans to permanently remove Rimmer and to assist Lister in restoring the human race.

Mistakes/Goofs

Goof (continuity error): Lister is ironing and has put the tomato he was eating to his right on the ironing board. From one shot to the other he suddenly has the tomato in his hand again.

Trivia

When Lister visits Kochanski's grave, a picture of Mel Bibby can be seen. Bibby was the show's production designer. He died in 2002.
In the opening minutes, during the scene where Lister is ironing, a Staples brand "Easy" button is visible on the desk in the center of the room.
Danny John-Jules, with a blue sock on his hand, provide the movement for the skutter's head. His hand was digitally edited out in post production and replaced with a CGI skutter.
The psi-scan used by Kryten is actually a Sonin 10075 Laser Targeting Range Finder, with the words 'BIT CRAP' superimposed on the display.
Rimmer says he will need "Classic Car Monthly or something" to read while the others are fighting the sea monster. Chris Barrie, who plays Rimmer, is a classic car enthusiast.
