  • Bret Harrison was cast based on his work in "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1999) {Guilt (#3.18)}, which producers Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters also wrote. His character in that was also named Sam.
  • In the original version of "Reaper" (2007) {Pilot (#1.1)} the role of Andi was played by Nikki Reed. All her scenes were eventually re-shot with Missy Peregrym as Andi. Though, there existed a version of the pilot episode in which Reed can be seen as Andi.
  • The first name of Rick Gonzalez' character is Ben and the last name of Tyler Labine's character is Wysocki. When combined you get the name of The Fray's drummer, Ben Wysocki.
