  • Episode 14 - Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Shawn mentions the treadmill seen in the opening credits of "The Jetsons". However, the treadmill actually appears in the closing credits.
  • Episode 08 - Shawn introduces Gus as "Harry Monroe" to Polexia at Shangri-Lala. Harry Monroe is Darnell "Crab Man" Turner's original name before he went into witness protection on My Name Is Earl.
  • Episode 09 - Goof (continuity error): When you see Shawn's cell phone in the trunk, it only shows the first text message to Gus.
  • Episode 12 - Goof (factual errors): When Shawn and Gus are looking for a bullet that had been shot into a tree five years earlier, Gus suggests Shawn is looking too low because "trees grow." In fact, trees grow vertically by adding new cells at the top of the tree. They will add rings and get wider around the trunk,
  • Episode 12 - Shawn refers to J.T. Waring's (i.e., Arnold Vosloo's) "Billy Zane-ian qualities." This may be a nod to the popular misconception that Billy Zane was the actor who portrayed High Priest Imhotep in the movie The Mummy Returns,
