The name Jason Cunningham is taken from the masked serial killer of the "Friday the 13th" franchise, Jason Voorhies, and the director of the original "Friday the 13th" film, Sean S. Cunningham.
The only episode to have an on-screen episode title, which was done in the style of the title to Friday The 13th.
Primarily spoofed the Friday The 13th movies, so it's very fitting that it premiered on Friday February 13, 2009.
