Summary: Lassiter and Juliet get called to a museum to investigate the disappearance of a 3,000-year-old mummy. Lassiter insists it's just a prank that's not worth his time. He's busy working on another case involving the death of philanthropist William Wyles III. However, the assistant curator insists that something weird is going on, something possibly supernatural that requires special help. Shawn is then brought in on the case, and he declares that the mummy was not stolen—it walked away on its own.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: In one shot of the dinosaur fossil display, the "photo by Bruton Gaster" caption is directly to the left of Shawn's "Paleo-Sleuth" photo. In the next shot, the caption is directly below Shawn's photo.
CHAR: While explaining how human eyes work, Shawn states that the cones are what allow us to see at night. This is incorrect - the cones are what allow us to see in color. The rods are responsible for night vision.
FAKE: In the close-up of the newspaper article on the Chief's replacement, the same text from the second column is repeated in the third.
FAKE: During the scene when Shawn and Gus are approaching the disabled van in the woods at night, the reflections of their flashlights are visible on the lens of the camera (possibly a pane of glass or plastic in front of it).

TRIVIA

The caption under the photo in the news paper at the end of the episode says "Photo by Bruton Gaster".
When Shawn is running around the museum and Gus is tracking him, the woman that Shawn tries to sneak out behind (when Gus says "Leave that poor woman alone") is played by Dulé Hill's mother.
When Gus is telling Shawn that watching him sneak through the museum is like "watching Entrapment, but instead of watching Catherine Zeta-Jones, they have some guy with pancake butt," the man walking past Shawn is writer/executive producer Steve Franks (I).
