Summary: Shawn and Gus go undercover as teachers of the paranormal at a school for gifted kids to investigate a possible murder. The only problem is, their clients, two students at the high school, don't have any idea about the identities of the murderer or his supposed victim. All they have to go on is a phone call they accidentally overheard a few nights ago while inside the school. Meanwhile, Juliet's one-year probation period has ended, so she grabs the reigns and leads her own case. Coincidentally, the case that Lassiter gives her is the same one Shawn and Gus are working on.

CONT: In the scene where Shawn tries to prove his psychic abilities in his debut in the classroom, the number the student writes on the board changes from 6.022 to 6.002.

Many of the main characters are named after famous scientists. William Bradford Shockley (1910 - 1989) was an American physicist and inventor who won the Nobel prize in 1953. Dr. Robert H. Goddard (1882 - 1945) was a pioneer in the field of rocket science. Otto Hahn (1879 - 1968) is a German chemist who is credited with the discovery of nuclear fission. The Meitner School itself is named for Hahn's colleague, Swedish chemist Lise Meitner (1878 - 1968).
SPOILER: Shawn makes mention of how them going undercover at the high school is like "21 Jump Street" (1987). The character of Kirk Godel/Jay Macendale, who is in disguise as a high school student, is played by Shane Meier who actually was on "21 Jump Street."
