I began watching the series online mainly because I had read the book, but also because it was fairly short (18 episodes). As it often hapens, the book is way better than the movie (although it's not an excellent book, but it's fun and easy to read). After seeing the first episode, I kept watching just to see how close the plot was to the book and, even though they were pretty different, the series are not that bad, I even suppose the how is awesome for teenage girls |

I watched the premier, and it won't make it into my faves, but I think it could be a hit with the younger crowd. |
