Summary: With the escape in motion, Michael, Lincoln and the inmates take flight outside the prison walls, risking life and limb to evade capture. Warden Pope and Captain Bellick embark on a relentless pursuit to capture the escapees; the Vice President fears she will lose her command as well as her life; and Veronica tracks down the most significant piece of evidence to prove Lincoln's innocence.

Mistakes/Goofs

Goof (continuity error): When in the barn getting in the van, one of the group who has a cut on his palm put his hand against the wall, leaving a circular like blood mark. Shortly after when Bellick and the cops are there, the mark changes to a hand shape, not a circular shape.
Goof (factual errors): When swearing in the VP as president, they declare her the 46th President of the United States. In 2005, the 43rd president was in office. Once the president dies she would become the 44th and not the 46th.
Goof (continuity error): During "1.21 Go", Sucre moves the toilet back into position against the wall, but near the beginning of "1.22 Flight" Warden Pope sees the toilet out of the position and the hole into the pipe system.
Goof (continuity error): When Abruzzi's pilot becomes spooked as they hear the sirens come closer, he says "We've gotta go." The next shot shows the approaching police cars, and if you look closely, you can see the inmates run off to the right, even though they have not arrived there yet.
Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): SPOILER: In the part where the prisoners are throwing the toilet paper. You can see how one of the cell doors is not locked and it moves when "prisoner" grabs it (approximately 15 seconds after when warden Pope comes out of the cell).

Trivia

SPOILER: Caroline Reynolds is sworn in as the 46th president of the United States. (In reality, George W. Bush is only the 43rd president of the United States.) This presumably is meant to suggest that "Prison Break" takes place in the future, or in an alternate universe, or both.
