- Matt Becker identifies Ethan Dobrowski as a "Russian anarchist" who disappeared in 1902. While the spelling of Dobrowski indicates a Polish nationality (the Russian ending would be "-sky"), Poland as a political entity did not exist in 1902. From 1793 until 1918, Poland's territory was divided in the First and Second Partitions among Russia, Austria and Prussia. There were numerous periods of revolt before the country was finally reconstituted after World War I. It's possible that Dobrowski was involved in one of these uprisings.
