Mistakes/Goofs

• Goof (continuity error): When Connor is driving a luggage truck on the airstrip to distract the Giganotosaurus there are wagons attached. After he stops and gets out of the vehicle in the next scene the wagons are gone.
• Goof (factual errors): When the juvenile dinosaur comes through the anomaly, the Documentary Presenter identifies it as a "...velociraptor...from the late cretaceous". This is correct, and he then goes on to say that it's "...eighty million years old". However, the estimated range of the velociraptor species is 75 to 71 million years ago. Furthermore, the Giganotosaurus predated velociraptors by some fifteen million years, so unless the other end of the anomaly is shifting, the two creatures could not have come from the same time and place. In any case, the chronological age of any living thing passing through an anomaly is not changed by the number of years it has traversed.

Trivia

• The 747 involved in the Gigantosaurus fracas was retired British Airways 747-236B G-DBXJ. It was modified for use as a prop in the movie Casino Royale. Its inboard engines were replaced with a mock-up of a pair of engines and its outboard engines were replaced with simulated fuel tanks. It was given the fictitious registration N88892 and was located at Dunsfold.
